i don't cook very often because i just haven't found the time-- but the times i had i really enjoyed it! you're right, the process is pretty grounding and it's relaxing if you know what you're doing haha. i've cooked with my friends before and it was fun too, and they're much better chefs than me so the food always turns out good ^_^
